Creative Glass Classes
Our term glass classes run for 10 weeks starting in line with the Victorian State School Terms, classes run as normal on Public Holidays.
Students attend the same session every week for 10 weeks, although some students have been coming for much longer including one student for over 30 years! Classes are self paced and informal with 12 students and two teachers assisting with projects from concept to completion. Attending classes is a great way to make time and space in your week to be creative, with all of the tools and supplies in the studio, as well as being a supportive social environment.
All our term classes are self-paced and students create projects of their choice. Students are taught the basics of glass working (eg; cutting, breaking and grinding glass) and are then assisted in choosing their own project to complete with supervision and assistance. None of our Term Classes require any prior knowledge or experience and we encourage adults of all ages and abilities to join our vibrant class groups.
Leadlight by Ettore runs glass classes in leadlighting, copper foil (Tiffany Method), mosaics, and glass fusing and slumping.
We do this in two formats single technique workshops with set projects on the weekends or private groups, and term classes where students can work on individual products in any of our glass mediums.

Glass Term Classes are held at the following times:
Monday: 10am-12pm Afternoon: 1pm-3pm Evening: 7pm-9pm
Tuesday: 10am-12pm
Wednesday: 10am-12pm Evening: 7pm-9pm
Thursday: 1pm-3pm
Please email, phone, or come in-person to be put on our waitlist and you will be offered a place in an available session times after the end of the current term.
Please Note: Returning students are given their preference of session times.
Weekend Workshops
Our weekend glass courses focus on a specific style of glass working or a related group of skills, to complete a sample project. These courses provide participants with the opportunity to learn a new skill and create a finished artwork in an intensive weekend workshop. Our glass courses are suitable for beginners unless stated otherwise.
Private Group Glass Art Classes:
We regularly run private group classes for both organisations and family and friend groups. From team building activities to a girls weekend away and baby showers we run sessions for groups of 6 or more in glass fusing, slumping, mosaics, or lead lighting. Workshops can run from 2 hours to 2 days depending on your choice of activity or time and budget.
